Call me slow, but I just finally honed in on these books. OMW!! Cute overload. I've been aware of these images for years, but never took the time
to look them up. What a charming series. I was drawn to the watercolor, and of course to the Mice. I especially enjoyed ready the history behind it
and to meet each of the mice and learn who they are. I will be sending this to all my friends who are Grandmas. I'm even asking for the books for my Christmas gift this year. Call me senile?? I don't care!! They inspire me to use my art skills for fun things. I think this mouse is Mrs. Apple...Look it up!!!

Meg & Libby at Poe Valley Park
Libby started calling me "Poe" when she first talked and never stopped. Then her little sis did it too. So, this is my park?? They were on an adventure with friends and found this place. Love it!!!

Update
Joyce continues in rehab for her leg, arm, and cognitive issues. She is in
good spirits and is working hard. Biopsy did show melanoma, and she will get radiation once she is healed a little more. She has a long road ahead and
will make it with God's help.
No job nibbles as of today. Sam is still in his "fog" with it all. To add to it, I hurt my back raking on Sunday. It was very gorgeous outside and I saw all the little green things trying to get up through the leaf blanket. Had to free them! Sam and Crystal did the "clean up" and I only cleaned out the gardens. Yep! that did it! I've been down since Tuesday. It is improving, but too slowly for my restless self. I have to let it heal!
So, God has His ways of slowing us down, when we don't do it on our own. OK...I'll "Be Still, and Know that He is God"...that's a bit of an Anner-ism, but makes the point. He gave me that verse years ago, and
has used it way too much.
We have our "sending service" on Sunday at Stillmeadow, and then we
will travel to the District Assembly where we are delegates. We are coming
home, and then back on Monday morning. Crystal is staying with Helen
after church, until late Monday. Praying my back will be up to the jostling
of the car. I love these meetings. Good music and good preaching!!!

Life Update
Joyce made it through the surgery, but we still don't have a diagnosis. The
words "radiation" and "melanoma" have been used but we know nothing more. She is now in rehab for "cognitive" reasons, memory is weak. Sam
has resumes out for jobs, waiting for unemployment to kick in. Went to
OSS, Dr. Hines and got my MRI report. Discs bulging in my neck and in
my lower back. They THINK that is causing my numb leg, and the pain in
my "replaced" shoulder, but can't be sure. Next step is a shot in the neck to
help my shoulders. I'm to get that next week, but I'm not sure about it right
now. This has been quite a time for us. Life is so unpredictable. Our church has a program "Live Ready" that is teaching us that we never know
what will come up in life. I'd just like it to come in smaller batches. I also
want to extend my love to my dear sister, Jane, who is ill and in need of
God's touch. She is my inspiration and my friend. Love you Jane!!!
