Life Notes

Yesterday was the start of our new church adventure.  Sam went on a retreat with the men, and I went to a pot luck dinner with the wives.  It will be a
totally different experience from the inner city people that we have been with for 13 years.  Hopefully a better experience.  We are doing what God has instructed us to do, so we know that it will be for the best for all of us.
This morning the York Church had a "sending" service for us. It was very
nice, with gifts, and a cake.  Lots of hugs and tears too.  After 13 years, there has been a turn over of people, but many are still the originals from the start of the church.  We will still see them as we are continuing our Wednesday night ministry with Celebrate Recovery.  On to the next phase!
